What's Next?

I'm sure you've been wondering what our future together looks like.  We've been working to figure that out for the past few weeks.  As of mid-May there are no new families in-process to adopt from Pleven.  This is the first time in 2 1/2 years that this has happened.  The good in this is that there are fewer waiting children than there once were, Praise Jesus!  The bad is that there are 4 precious children whose files are currently available.  No families are pursuing those children at this time.

So, here is the plan.  We are praying for there to be a need for a November auction.  This will give me time to take care of some responsibilities that I have over the Summer, as well as lining us up for a great time of year for an auction, right before Christmas!  Please help us pray for families to come forward for the four children who are currently available for adoption.  I do not have details on these little ones, but I would recommend keeping an eye on http://theblessingofverity.com/ for updates.

Again, thank you so much for your consistent, unwavering support of our efforts to help these beautiful children come home to the families that they need.  Please help us pray that families will continue to respond to God's call.  And, help us pray that every single child that is made available for adoption will be redeemed into a loving family.  They matter, each and every one of them.

    Can you do an auction to raise funding for the baba program or other Pleven needs?

      Hi, I am just one of a group of folks that makes auction decisions. At this point, we have decided to wait until November for the next auction. We will see what happens at that point. Thanks for the suggestions!
