Black & Red Spiral Beaded Kumihimo Necklace
Eight hundred Japanese seed beads were hand strung and braided to create this piece. It measures 18 inches long and is finished with silver plated findings. Kumihimo is an ancient art form, the practice of which was a closely guarded secret for centuries. The earliest intact piece that has been found to date was located along the Silk Road in China.
